This therefore allows an easy and flexible install of the NMEA 2000 without the need for cumbersome drop cables. It allows an easy and thin 20m cable to be run from the WND100 to the nearest point on the NMEA 2000 backbone. Thus allowing the iKonvert to connect to it. If you have an existing wind transducer that has failed or you want to add wind data to a multi-function display (MFD).
