Ficus carica ‘Little Miss Figgy’ (Fig Tree) 3 Litre Pot
$16.19
$28.17
A naturally compact fig, ‘Miss Figgy’ is bred for small spaces. Its foliage resembles that of larger figs, but it grows into a smaller, well-balanced plant, making it perfect for patios and courtyards. After a long, hot summer, it may produce sweet fruit, which is delicious baked with maple syrup and served with mascarpone, or enjoyed with espresso or a splash of liqueur. If growing for fruit, keep it in a pot to restrict the roots, then either place it on a patio or sink the pot into the ground. In spring, once all risk of frost has passed, remove any frost-damaged or weak branches and thin out shoots to let in light. Light summer pruning can help encourage bushier growth. Trim new shoots back to five or six leaves. Eventual height and spread: 1.2m Supplied in a 3 litre pot
